The last 3 months we seem to have gone from unknown start-up to recognised challenger, thanks to all your help and support. It’s so great to call someone up and be recognised, rather than having to establish that Hindenburg Systems is, indeed, a credible company in the audio industry.

Hindenburg Systems is proud to announce that we are sponsoring the Third Coast Conference Award at the Third Coast Conference!

The Third Coast Conference convenes in Chicago for three days every other fall, this year on October 5th-7th. Radio producers and audio artists come together, listen to each other’s work, share ideas and expertise, and make priceless connections with future colleagues and new friends. Sessions and discussions range from practical topics to philosophical perspectives, and all include plenty of radio listening.

The weekend culminates with an awards ceremony honouring the winners of the Third Coast / Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition, sponsored by Hindenburg Systems.

Hindenburg will be at SXSWi on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th March.

* New Loudness meter

The Hindenburg Loudness meter has a new look and feel.
The loudness measurements are pictured in the same fashion as you playback sound. This gives a better view of where problematic level shifts are placed in the mix.
A ghosted image of the previous loudness measurement provides you a guideline for your current mix levels.

* Paste over selection

Copy a selection of sound (this could be some room-tone) and paste it into a different selection.This can be used for covering small errors in the audio.

* Replace

Copy a selection and use that for replacing other selctions. This could be used for replacing a long “breath” with a short “breath”

* Misc. bug fixes

Remember, as of version 1.20, our Call Recorder feature allows Hindenburg Journalist PRO users to record phone interviews from directly within your radio production tool..
